Same trip my DFed brother came to visit, we did a guided "mural walk" through the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.
This one below was one of my favorites. It's on the wall of a restaurant called "Range". Very $$$, but very tasty.

My DFed brother and my son on the green roof of the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco a couple years ago.
And my wife and son inside the Ca Academy of Sciences standing next to some humanoid skulls much older than 6,000 years.

This place is between 5-60 minutes from our front door. (As are all the photos I'll post.) It's on the peninsula south of San Francisco, CA about 20 miles. It's an estate formerly owned by some tycoon early in 20th century and it's called FILOLI. FI = FIGHT, LO = LOVE, LI = LIVE. “Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life.” It's now open to the public.

I'm sorry to see a unique poster like you leave the kaleidoscope that is JWN.
I personally never cared much for the majority of your posts because they were just not my cup of tea.
You as an individual in real life, well, I'm glad to have made your acquaintance last weekend.
